The last year has been an unfair roller-coaster ride for TN football fans. As a UGA fan I do not know whether to be glad or happy for your losses. In the end I would have preferred for the Kiffins to be in the SEC than the PAC10. If Monte is coaching the defense and Lane is running the offense then national championships won't be too far behind. Learning to hold one's tongue is a learned skill. Lane made some rookie mistakes but that doesn't change the fact that he and daddy were setting TN up to be the next dominant team in SEC football. Sorry for your loss.

DudefromTennessee, that was an excellent and classy post. My mother is a UT grad and a diehard Vol, and she was of the same opinion as you: Dear Lord, why have we been cursed with such a wart of a coach? Haven't gotten her opinion on Coach Dooley yet (man, THAT's weird to say again, especially about Tennessee!), but I'm sure she's happy. I knew he was gonna get snatched up...just thought he'd go C-USA first, maybe over to ECU to replace Skip Holtz. UT got a steal here, and if he can surround himselves with good coordinators...man.

I do feel bad for you on the recruiting front, but it makes me happy. The only bad thing to come out of all this is the fact that we are 0-1 lifetime against Lane Kiffin! Makes me want to play USC in a bowl game, and SOON!!!
