Conference realignment

Here's what needs to happen:

Utah and Boise State join the Pac-10

Iowa State or Missouri joins the Big 10 and TCU takes their place in the Big 12.

Then the usual suspects amongst the mid-majors would be in BCS conferences, and the Big 10 and Pac 10 would have 12 teams each, allowing them to have conference championship games.

That works for me....ISU would be a natural for the Big 10 because Iowa is already in the conference.

Makes sense. That is why it won't happen. College presidents make those decisions. Can you see that bunch making a decision like that? I don't.

PAC 10 and Big 11 ain't goin to have championship games either. That is next step to playoffs and they aint ready for that. Got to keep the rose bowl people happy.

The college presidents are driving conference make ups, bowl games, championships, and playoffs. That bunch just do not care about public opinion.

The Big 10 + 1 is trying to get Notre Dame to join so they can have a championship game. They will be the next confrence to hold a championship game so all eyes are on the Pac 10 to do the same. At least the Big 10 is trying to add that 12th team.. I don't think Notre Dame Football wants to do it and they would have to leave the Big East in all other sports? College Football needs 8 confrences with 12 teams in each all with Championship games.

Utah and Boise St join Pac-10 and a +1 system will make me a happy camper.
