why not this???

Would promoting RG to Dc hurt or help recruiting? due to his great recruiting skills and he has been around for awhile learning, is he ready? Just throwing this one out there for discussion? We all want a proven DC but why not give him a shot? We have covered every possibility outside the UGA nation so this should make for good conversation?

Why settle for an unproven DC when we don't have to?

CMR cant take a chance on a DC this Time, We must Get a proven DC it is far to important, UGA has a chance to get to where we all want to be Now with this choice!! UGA must get a No Nonsense DC that is ready for the job and to take us to the next level. RG is a good recruiter but IMO we cant gamble on him being the next DC.

I agree with you, OldSouth. The wrong move here could land some people in hot water.:S

golferdawg, my contact says that as far as he knows, CMR didn't even interview RG for the position.

RG would be a great choice for DC. I have no problem with RG. I also agree with the fact that UGA can be where we want them to be and soon. I think that picking our next DC is not nearly as important as deciding who will call offensive plays. CMR has to take over the offense if we want to play for a NC. Our defensive problems WILL be taken care of soon. I believe this with all of my heart.
