Russ for UGA 8

Why cant Russ be UGA8 He has been a dam good DAWG!!! I like him why cant he be UGA8 Just because he has a brown spot I dont get it? What do the rest of yall think?

The official word is that he is too old. He is 6 and past his prime. They like to start them out young so they can get used to the constant attention and traveling and all.

He's so big he looks more like a bear than a bulldog. BUT.....he's a DGD and has done a GREAT job filling in.

most \"white\" English Bulldogs have a variety of spotting. If you listen closely to the on camera interview you heard the trainer mention white spray paint...Commonly used to hide Uga's spots...a pure white dogs is very, very rare, but they like to get a young pup with very few spots. As you saw, Russ has very distinctive spotting.

ChemDawg was spot on; pardon the pun, regarding the dogs age. Most English Bulldogs begin to develop health issues around 7-8 years...I'm sure they are already working with the Seiler family to plan the announcement of the heir to Uga VII's short but well pronounced reign.
