pump some sunshine up CMB's arse and ignore the obvious offensive ills......
No one disputes the need for change on the defensive side of the ball. However, I am still willing to tip my hat to Coach Jancek, Coach Fabris and YES Coach Martinez for giving everything they had to our program. I can't imagine the microscopic world that they live in, having their employment failures aired in nano seconds across these internets! Personally, I am mindful of the fact that these gentlemen have families and children and responsibilities and just got their pink slip. Yah, I know they were well paid and knew the parameters and downsides of the profession they chose. Just ask yourself how would you feel to have your work ethic dissected daily by thousands and thousands of well meaning fanatics???
Thank you Coach Jancek, Coach Fabris and Coach Martinez for not only giving want you did to the program, but handling this bitter pill with class and dignity. I wish you well and hope that each of you quickly find suitable employment.
Soooooooo,...we now have what we asked for,...NO....demanded!!!...What next,....weeks of speculation, perhaps an offer or two,...I pray to all things right and Dawgly, that we don't repeat the coaching selection mistakes of Golf and Donnan...Year after year it was a revolving door of coaching changes...Offers accepted, then turned down....Anyone remember Joe Kines????...Talk about bend don't break.....So here we sit, at the great biforcation of decision...REMEMBER:....we asked, NO DEMANDED this!!!....
....and still our offensive woes remain.....Might as well move the microscope to the other side of the line of scrimmage........
GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As CMR stated about the firing of Jancek, Martinez, and Fabris; it wasn't just a one year deal. Obviously, he has seen flaws the past 3 seasons and knew it was time to pull the plug. Bobo, during his 3 (correct me if i'm wrong?) year reign as the offensive coordinator, has only had one disappointing offense. As others have stated before, it's his turn to sink or swim. I truly believe if, at the end of next season, we are not back to the RED AND BLACK glory, (because of the O side of things) Bobo will be axed.

Of course it will help when Bobo has a QB he can trust. He never trusted Joe Cox IMO, and I dont blame him. Good riddance to that cat.
OK, I'll bite....So what was his excuse for 08 and 07??? Did he not trust the Golden Boy?...
Good riddance,????....REALLY,...????....Damn,...Don't let the screen door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!!!...The bandwagon is leaving.........
GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NC_Dawg,
With all due respect sir, I am far from a bandwagoner. You dont know me, so it's not the least bit fair for you to make that judgement call.
Now onto the \"Golden Boy\" as you call him.
I will start by saying that Stafford was never my favorite QB as he also made some poor decisions, but to nowhere near the degree that Cox did. At least we could depend on him to make 10-20 yd passes, and not throw it to an opposing DB.
Stafford tossed 25 TD passes last year, to the best of MY knowledge(may be wrong) that was a new UGA record.
And as far as the screen door hitting me...I dont think so my friend, I'll be here as long as I want to be. Im not here to fight or argue w/ anybody, but I'm not going to sit here and read insults directed towards myself, either. Do as you wish sir.
Go Dawgs.
