Wonderful First Half

Hey yALL, I have lost my job, my unemployment this week and I am screwed, I have a wife an two small chidren, but tonight I thank GOD!!!! because we some how WON!!! and even though tomorrow will bring me back to my sobering reality, at least the DAWGS BEAT TECH THATS ALL I WANTED FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!

Buc you are correct the interior lines on both sides played extremely well tonight. I hit the panic button a little early, but they did play well. However, I still believe we have the worst D on the face of the earth. OldSouthDawg, I am sorry to hear about your misfortune. I am glad to hear about your happiness tonight though. I wish that CMR could read your post and then he might understand how important UGA football is to us. Hold your head high buddy and keep fighting.

Nice win no matter how you cut it. Sorry to say that Willy still has to go. Although I found myself feeling sorry for Willy when the cameraman zoomed in when one of the UGA players was standing next to Willy. Willy looked pretty emotional.... and then I remembered all the terrible breakdowns in D - poor tackling, bad pursuit angels, bad scehemes, bad half time adjustments or to be more direct no half time adjustments and finally the lack of inspiration that was bestowed upon our D week by week and.... I did not feel bad for Willy.

If Willy does go, I imagine he will have a hard time finding a new job. I am not one to kick someone when they are down but the fact that Willy will have a difficult time getting re-hired should be proof that we waited too long.

I dont think Willie will be gone for good. He may have coached his last game as the D cordinator, but he will still be around possibly on the recruiting side. I was talking to an old HS coach of mine that has a \"very inside source\" and I have not seen in a while was telling me last night that Willie was \"out\" along with \"many others\".

fire_dawg, last nights game really excited me, not only did we beat GT, the football players that we thought we had showed up for work.

Not going into a long tirade about the coaches, just say this . . . . where was the fire this team played with last night earlier this season. That is also a part of coaching. Does not always happen that the players are flat, just happened too much this season with the caliber of players that have been successfully recruited over the past few years.

I hope that this is a \"fresh start\" for ALL OF US. Make the necessary changes, coach these young men up and return to UGA style football. Great victory over GT last night, and again, offensive line was really OFFENSIVE.
