If Fat Charlie joins Phat Phil in the unemployment line after this season, do you think the Irish can entice Meyer away from Florida?

Especially if Florida gets beat by Bama in the SEC championship game. Meyer's kids are older now and with Tebow graduating and Charlie Strong probably moving on to greener pastures, bailing never looked so good.

I told some buddies this three weeks ago that the way ND is playing that Weiss would be gone and Meyer In... They all said I was crazy. Why would Meyer leave FL? Simple Tebow will be gone and ND will throw out $5mill a year with perks. Even if Fl wins the NC I think he leaves.. Strong probably takes over the team? Makes sense to me...

I am almost hoping he stays because he is loosing a lot next year and they will not be nearly as strong as they are this year, they may not even be top 15 next year. Hell, I dont think they are that great this year just got lucky and the teams as a whole are down this year.

I still think fla loses to bama and texas will kill bama in the NC game.

I have a buddy who is an Alumni of ND and he has been telling me since the middle of last season that CUM was heading to ND at the end of this season. I kept telling him that he was full of it, but he said they that CUM and ND have been talking under the radar since last summer. And that they wanted him this year but he wanted to stay through Teabags tenure. Hasn't CUM stated in the past that he wanted to return to ND as a HC? I agree, what a way to bail on a subpar season next year.
