Disillusioned??

I was reading the paper this morning about the game yesterday when I saw a quote by Jeff Owens........\"we got our swagger back\".......are you kidding me!!!!!!! Against Tenn Tech, a team that Bolles High School here in Jax could beat!!! Also CMR said \"it was a good win\".........are you kidding me, again?? I played on a few college intramural teams that would have given TT a good game.

I was just fixing to write the same thing, I just watched the CMR show, and he stated what a great game the D played. He said CWM did a great job coaching and the players made a great effort. The shut out was excellent and took a team effort. I told my wife, you have got to be kidding me. You talk like we just beat a Tenn, Ala, FLA ect. This was Tenn Tech and we are back with this great over all win. We still had what 11 penalties for 85 yards, I know CMR is glad to have something happy to talk about, but come on don't brag on your CWM and his staff for an excellent game. This kind of stuff with CMR makes me wonder if he has a clue any more about coaching and what it takes every game, not just a good game from a high school team. I think KaNAS sTATE BEAT THEM 63 TO 0 AND we manage to get a 38 to 0 score.

I wish I could look forward the the rest of the season, but with Auburns Defense and Offence, and with a decent KY team and a great GT team, I just don't see us even being 6-6. We may, I may get fooled, but this team just look terrible against good teams, so 30-70 against Aub, 50-50 against KY and 0 chance against Tech. Tech Johnson is going to be a great coact, he is mean does not take lackluster effort and he demands a win. I doubt we will ever beat Tech again as long as he is there.

I really hope I can come back to this board next Sunday and say man I was wrong, we really put it on a good Aburn team.

That speaks volumes on the expectations of this program from the coaches. They should be telling the players this is not a good win, it is an expected win. We should have been up 38-0 at halftime. We should be beating lower tier SEC teams 38-0. And if beating TT gets their \"swagger\" back, then they've sunk lower than even I gave them credit for. Maybe if we get back to the days of beating UK and Vandy and Miss St consistently 30something-0, then maybe I would say the swagger is back.

Maybe, just maybe, Richt's trying to save his a#*!

Tenn Tech is an hour east of me. Last week Watson Brown was interviewed by a local sports radio host. They did not even ask about the Ga game as Brown had already conceded a loss. And now our team thinks it was a great win? Sure doesn't say much about our teams expectations for the rest of the year.

This is depressing.

It's entirely possible we don't win another game. Auburn, Kentucky, Georgia Tech
