DEFENSE?

I just spent some time going over UGA's schedules for the years that HCMR has been with US! Here is some interesting facts(interesting to me anyway); in 2001 HCMRs worst record (until this year) opponents scored a total of 228 points! In 2002 a great year we went 13/1 went to the sugar bowl and opponents scored only 212 points on us. No one hung more that mid 30s points on us until 2006 when Tenn had a feild day with us and put a woopin 51 points on us, even that year opponents only scored 229 points. Now to the decline- In 07 it wasnt too bad only 262 points scored. Then in
08 the worst 333 points and now this year we are rolling to another all time high! Our opponents have already scored 235 points on us in the first 8 games this season. With 4 games in the regular season an possibly a bowl game we could set a record for points scored against our terrible defense.
Before Tenn hung that 51 points on us in 2006 very few times did we have anyone score more that 30 points on us--since that fateful day we have enjoyed 13 games where opponents have scored more than 30! This is a long drawn out way to say that I think our DEFENSE sucks and I also think that HCMR needs to finish the drill for CWM!

If BVG had stayed, none of us would be upset right now, bottom line is BVG got more out of the Dawg Def the anyone else since Erk was here, GA dropped the ball when we let him walk out of here bottom line. He didnt accept anything but 100% effort and the players respect that, He even has the falcons last yr and this yr sacking getting turn overs and playing aggressive style D. that attacks!!! And this yr falcons dont even have alot of good players but he gets the most out of what he has, Thats a kind of D coach we need now A no nonsense no excuse get in your face DC.

HEY YAll, I know Im goin on about this but I must VENT!!! It makes me sick to know BVG is right down the street with the Falcons!! I mean the Falcons for heavans sake!! Everyone knows the only team that matters in GA is the DAWGS!!! He should be here, I want to know who is responsible for him not being here, and far as Im concerned starting the Dawgs decline, Evans or someone should have kept him here, cause now we are paying for it!!

OSD.....the word on BVG is that he wasn't well liked and didn't get along with the staff. As good a DC as he is, I've also heard he's pretty much a jerk.
