I am a Dawg fan probably the biggest fan on this board. I am 58 years old played ball in all levels expect NFL and I know what I see. Yes we are playing FLA, but so what, have we look impressive in every games we played. Do you see other coaches coming out with different uniforms to get their teams fired up. How about southern Cal, how about Fla, how about Ala, how about Penn State, how about Olk, these teams play ball they don't team gimicks to get them fired up. I think CMR is a fine man, but he had David Green and David Pollack, Mareno, and Stafford. This year we get to see just what kind of coach we have. With the talent we have you tell me even with JC, that Suprrior, Myers, Saban, Pete Carroll would not have us in the top 5. You are intitles to your opinion, but I feel that I have the knowledge and back ground to call it as I see it. I am sorry if this upseet you or other members of this board. I to have thought of leaving the board, due to all this dreaming like before the season even started, some were saying we would sneak in to the National title game, we were under the radar. Well now we are off the radar and noone fears UGA.

With a response like that, you do have my respect. Moreno & Stafford were both Mark Richt's recruits, so he has the right to call them his own. I remember the 2007 Georgia Bulldogs (CMR's recruited team), everyone had called them off, and they came back to shock the world. Mark Richt is a great coach. For his assistants, that's a whole different story.

I agree with you top diggity, even bear bryant had 2 losing seasons, CMR was caoaching Heisman trophy winning QBs before he got to UGA and wow FSU has been great since he left!! Our big problem is WM no coach can win with him as your DC. And David greene and the others would nt have won sec titles with jim donnan lol, CMR coached em up, Get Rid of WM but to get rid of CMR is just CRAZY are you kidding, I guess people would have wanted to get rid of Dooley to when he had a couple bad seasons.

Nobody is saying get rid of CMR, all we are saying is why can't you get your team up for big games with out gimicks. Yes the coaches around MR are terrible, we have no defense, no special teams. Did you watch the same game I watched, we looked terrible except for a few plays. Now I want you to listen to the call in show and I will bet you MR will say the Defense played a good game. He will say the interceptions put the D in bad situation. I am so sick of CMR defending WM and making excusses. If the head coach refuses to admitt problems and keeps makeing excusses, then yes the head mans job should be in question. He gets paid to win and I don't care if he is a nice man with good morals. this will no win us championships and will only see UGA continue on a downward spirial.

So, you get a pass if you've played football. I suppose the rest of us are just disgruntled hacks? CMR is not a great coach, he is a great man. He is a good coach, but not a great coach. Great coaches demand excellence from everybody, including themselves. CMR accepts mediocrity from his supporting cast and then makes excuses for it.
