Another thing that really shows the lack of serious coaching from this group. The kicking game. After watching some of Blair's games in high school, knew that he could put the ball in the end zone or real close on many if not most of his kicks.
Blair in my opinion is really getting it together and should be left alone by the person or persons that were so caught up in directional kicking.
Seems as if the coach or coaches have gotten it through their collective heads that kicking out of bounds is pretty ridiculous. The kickoffs in the UT game were much better, but coverage still leaves a lot to be desired.
wlayton is right about playing the young QB's. If we don't get some on field experience at the position, we are virtually starting at ground zero next year. Letting Cox play this year out of respect for the player has just about ran its course. LG is not getting any reps to speak of, so what will he bring to the table next year. Less starting time at the position than JC had at the beginning of this year.
Aaron Murray I will bet a dollar to a donut knows this offense backwards and forwards. He is smart, mobile and has a serious arm. I vote for playing time with real bullets being fired before the beginning of next year. Along with this change, would love to see Coach Richt back in the saddle calling plays 90% of the time. When Coach Richt was running the offense at FSU, would not hesitate to put the ball in the air DOWN FIELD. Not those flat passes that other teams in the SEC plan for and know that UGA is going to use.
Another year like this one and we will be trying to dig ourselves out of a huge hole. We cannot afford to let the Sabans, Kiffins and UM's put any more distance between our programs. There are a lot of qualified coaches that would jump at the chance to coach the Red and Black.
