You can only ask the D for so much. The offense put it all on them and didn't pull their weight. Of course they were going to let one get through eventually, having to pick up all the slack. If we had managed, oh, about 24 points or so, we wouldn't have that problem. The D as much as could be asked from them given the circumstances. They held a top 4 team to 20 points on the game and 6 until the 4th quarter.

You are right ChemDawg. I shouldn't come down so hard on the D today. The did play a hell of a game.

I'm just frustrated. Not happy with the fact that the Dawgs are an average team at best this season.

No the defense crumbled under the pressure, it happens way too often.

And if you think LSU is really a top 4 team then you are crazy, they are top 15 maybe.

Hey guys...are you forgetting that we had a 7-6 lead and Butler punted them down to their 12 yard line with about 6 1/2 minutes to go and they crammed it down our throats for 88 yards to take the lead??????? WHAT ABOUT THAT DRIVE.....then came the last drive fiasco.

Yes our D did play better BUT....they gave up approximatley 250 in the FIRST HALF !!! It was a freaking MIRACLE that we weren't down 21-0 at half. The D in the 3rd qtr and first 1/2 of the 4th qtr played like UGA D's SHOULD play. Then when CRUNCH TIME comes.....LSU crams it down our throat their last TWO possessions. D just CAN'T get it done.....period!!!
