I'm actually amazed at the positive nature of a few folks on here. Our offense was horrendous - let's look back at last season as well - best (passing) QB in the SEC, top RB, top reciever and we lost 3. We have a receiver who will catch anything he gets his hands on, if we just get it to him. Let's look at the d today - we didn't give up many points - that's a credit to the players, but look at yards per game given up this season - that has to fall on the coaching. When you have an open field (outside the 30) it's up to the scheme and play calling of the d, (where we failed), when you're inside the red zone (especially in the 10) there is less room for the offense to spread out, and your d players can use their ability to make plays without being hampered by inadequate coaching. we stand up in the red zone, but in any space we're awful.
CMR is a class act and a quality recruiter and we're lucky to have him. But this is his acid test season - he either steps up and takes charge and turns this around (by either taking over play calling, or demoting some of his pathetic coordinators), or he stands by his loyalty to blind willie, bobo, cox, etc. and we unfortunately witness the downfall of a potentially great head coach.
