steve528....now that you mention it, I saw that as well. Couldn't believe they were jiving like that either. Erk would have kicked their collective butts. Don't mind them having fun at the end of a game that is in hand and actually encourage them having fun to an extent....but at the end of that close game? You would think they would have been on the sidelines encouraging their teammates.

Makes you wonder what goes thru these kids heads sometimes.

Limey, wasn't that Dooley's trademark on winning back in his day?

Now I think of it, yes. When I attended Georgia, nobody bitched about the heart of the team even after a loss. Those kids came to play. This group looks alot like them, except (lordie forgive me for this one) we have a better HC.

I didnt see the dancing on the bench you guys refer to, (THANK GOD!), I 'd have probably
threw something right thru the big screen. I personally don't like that kind of behavior
before the game is over, (aint real crazy about it then either). Hopefully the coaches
seen the game film and will immediately put a stop to that kind of childish behavior.

I look at the season as the team being on a mission to accomplish winning the SEC Championship
and until that happens no one has any business dancing about anything.

You wanna dance go on dancing with the Stars for crying out loud !

Or,

Win and SEC championship and you can dance all night long baby !!!!!!!!

Go Dawgs !!!

Interesting...the Dawgs did the exact same thing EXCEPT HUGER in 2007, starting with the Auburn game. No one complained then...and you know who started that dancing? Knowshon Moreno.

I don't think it's anything more than getting their energy levels up. Everyone on this board knows that this team plays better when they're loose and having fun. We can't complain about them having no heart out of one side of our mouths and then slam them for dancing out of the other side.

By the way, our defense DESERVED to dance during the Arizona State game. They effectively limited Arizona State to 3 points if you take away the silly turnovers. They turned one interception into no points, as well. They can dance on a table in a nightie if they want, after that performance.

My issue was that at THAT point in the game, it was anybody's game, we were struggling on offense and the players should be supporting the team on the field, not dancing on the benches. When KM was having fun, the game was solidly put away and it was about over, no doubt about the outcome.
Also, not really complaining, just wondering what's up with that scene?

Erk would have rolled some heads.

The guys do need to have fun on the sideline, but they also need to be intense. To me that is one thing lacking on defense. With the exception of a couple of players(the ones continually making big plays every game) nobody on defense has that headhunting mentality. That your not going to gain an inch type of desire. If the players want to be loose, they have bikes on the sideline for that. If getting to play in Samford Stadium at night, between the hedges doesnt get there energy levels up to near head exploding proportions, then dancing around on the bench isnt what they need.
