ChemDawg~

I don't think you would ever hear AJ say what you said. He committed Georgia long before his senior season in high school because he loved Georgia and wanted to play in Sanford. He continues to play awesome and makes plays happen. He is very proud to be a Georgia Bulldog and play with \"this team\"

Best WR in the country.

btw, how about that block he put on that CB (?). Loved that they isolated on him....he drilled him (of course the CB didn't see him coming).

Agreed on all accounts. Greene is special. I loved that our coaches were able to get that part right. Putting him on the block team saved the game. I hope he doesn't follow the money at the end of the year, but if he does, can you blame him?

We have the best wideout in the country and the best punter in the country, too. What's Drew Butler's average up to after that 65-yarder out of the end zone? 57 per boot?

We're lucky we have AJ Green playing, too, since apparently Joe Cox thinks that just because he's from Charlotte NC that he should play like Jake Delhomme. JoeC has thrown an interception every game, and has thrown two per game in each of the last three. I've been a staunch JoeC defender, but that's done now. He CANNOT do this every game. He cannot.

Even if he stops, Mark Richt has GOT to get Logan Gray some meaningful snaps at some point. I don't know why he doesn't go back to the rotating quarterback scenario he had in 2002, 2003 and 2004 with Greene and Shockley, given that he has the exact same type of quarterbacks at his disposal right now. It should be Joe Cox in until we score, then Logan Gray for a series, which is how he played DJ back in 2002 (and 2003, until DJ got hurt against Tennessee) regardless of how close the game was. He got away from that a little in early 2004 and it cost us the Tennessee game that year.

Regardless, that's a topic for another thread. AJ Green should win the Biletnikoff, the Heisman and the all-around-best-person-from-South-Carolina-EVER award (so far, the best they've got is Andie McDowell...which ain't saying much) by around midseason.

Go Dawgs.
