Where was I inaccurate? Urban Meyer DID whine for a year about the end zone celebration. Yes, I know he didn't write the book himself. Urban Meyer DID take timeouts as the clock was ticking down against Georgia last year, and even HYPEspn (also known as The Tebow Channel) acknowledged that he was rubbing it in Georgia's face. And he did tack on the field goal against Miami. And he did make excuses for not blowing Tennessee out.

Let me ask Urban something (oh, God, please let me ask him MANY things): if the reason you didn't score so much on Tennessee was because you didn't think that they were trying to win the ball game, then why did you hang 56 on Troy and 63 on Charleston Southern? Did you think you needed more insurance against them than against a divisional SEC opponent?

Like I said before, the main reason I'm so upset about this is that your jerk of a coach has actually made it so that I'm on LANE KIFFIN'S side of the argument. Do you realize how dirty that makes me feel?

Why can't Meyer take a page out of Richt's book and just say, \"good game, we played a good team, glad it was a well fought victory\" and leave it at that. I, like the rest of you, were surprised at how well Tennessee did to stay in the game and do as well as they did, but it was a pleasant surprise. The thing I also dislike about Meyer is how he takes how well TN did away from their players, yet again its basically peeing in those kids faces. Simple, polite manners are something he does not possess. If we want healthy rivalries, games like Saturday, are a good thing. I think Meyer and Florida just hate the idea that they aren't perfect and other teams can get through the Superman complex. That's what you get when you stack your schedule with really easy teams and have everyone bow down to you. Reality check!

Makes me that much prouder to have Richt at the helm of our team, instead of a lot of the other SEC coaches. I will take class and manners over what Meyer is anyday.

You have to have some respect for what Kiffin was able to do. Dont feel too dirty, dapolla, at least he was able to somewhat back up what he said.

I'm not making excuses for UM, but other than being a sniveling little prima donna that honestly thinks he is God's gift to coaching CFB, he has other motives for his comments.

dapollas post realy makes a good point, which is quite factual and accurate of many people's feelings.

Being a UF fan I love CUM. He has brought more NC to the program then any coaches could do before him. I thought that CUM played very conservatively and never pushed the ball down the field. That being said, UT played a good game defensively and kept UF in check. As far as Meyers \"Classlessness\", he is a winner, and thats what he gets paid to do. The UGA celbration, sure CMR apologized, and the whole team wasnt supposed to go out there blah blah blah. CUM got what he thought was his \"revenge\", 2 wrongs dont make a right. The Miami field goal argument doesnt really hold water with me. If UGA had an oppurtunity to put a field goal late in the game against Tech, they would. Its a rivalry game, and nobody is concerned about making sure they get a Xmas card from the opposing coach. CMR is a better class person than CUM, no question, but CUM gets paid to win games and especially win the rivalry games. Alumni love when you can rub the rivalries nose in a loss, because its so few and far between when you are able to. Thats my take, and I know it differs from you guys, but thats what makes this board so unique, everybody loves there team, and loves College Football.

Personally I do not hate CUM because of his actions. I dislike him, because he coaches at UF. I think UM, LK and SS bring attitude to this conference. Sometimes I wish CMR would quit being so nice. However, CMR is a classy guy and I respect him for that. My Issue with UM has to do with is he as good as UF thinks he is. All I hear is UM was great at Utah and he has been great at UF. Is he really great? I think the future will soon tell. This year he is playing without his OC, which he brought from Utah. Next year he will play without the greatest leader in CFB history. I mean let's look at the UT game. UT has a QB that wouldn't make UGA's roster much less take a snap. UM's QB is TT and he also has one of the best D's in the nation. After a 10 point victory in the SEC he starts making excuses. UF fans, everyone knows that every UT team has a good D. I don't know why he is embarrassed. Time will tell. Now you are offended that a UGA fan questions almighty Florida. We have dominated UGA for 15 or 20 years. My answer to that is, if we are going to talk history then let's talk about all of it. I would hate to think that my beloved UGA dominated someone for 15 to 20 years and would still be well behind in the overall series record. You have a little bit of room to brag because UF's 09-10 class is winning 2 to 1. If UGA wins this year then this class splits with us. UGA has been in a rut for a while now and we will once again have our day. Like I said earlier I just wonder if UM is a little bit over rated. You know that goon at ND was considered a genius while with his friends in New England. UM was considered a savior while with his friend from Utah. Time will tell. If UM proves me wrong then I'll admit it. Have fun in the spotlight Gators. You may soon be like the rest of us. You know you are close, but can't quite find that final piece of the puzzle. My last question to UF fans. If UM was not winning NC's. Would you still be proud of him when he is showing no class. CMR has never won a NC and UGA fans hold their head high and consider ourselves lucky to proclaim CMR as our coach!
