random observations and quotes from UGA vs SCar

Got to Athens around 0930 Am. Zach picked up his tix from me, I invited him to come along. \"I guess Im ready, this shirt already has throw up on it\"

Got to the spot and it was me and Shane's bro family there. they had donuts, cake, bbq and lots of fixins and chips and stuff. Loads of food. As in 12 people didnt make a DENT. I invited everyone i knew to come get some. Naturally no one showed up. 9 pounds of BBQ pork alone.

Wlaked by Katy's friends' tent and informed them that they proly wouldnt see Katy this season because she's pregnant. They all congratulated me.

The quote of the day was \"I'm happier than Richard Simmons running backwards through a cornfield\"

My take on the bloody mary, whos name will change week to week to fit the opponent. This week it was the \"bloody spurrier\" It contained vodka, VA, worschteshire sauce and Sri Racha (garlic and chili paste), and magic guaranteed to make Spurrier throw his visor:)

Got to see one of the best boot and ralley's Ive seen in years. from my friends bro. he drank heavily in the ehat, threw up, went to cool off in his truck and still made it to the game! and he turned 40 that day

Met Aj Greens family. Gave away some of my beer to them. They also got some boiled Peanuts from us. His mom was wearing his jersey with \"mom\" on the back of it where the name would go so we got up the guts to ask and sure enough it was her! Very COOL!

Left the tailgate at 4 and made my way toward the Dawg Walk.

Hopped on a shuttle with 3 people on it. MArveled at the new frat houses on River rd.

-The Dawg Walk is a lot like snow skiing in the world of me, I'm the only person I know who does it.

-I had a great spot for the Dawg walk. It was where the band and players veer left in the parking lot. I got a good pick of the Ginger Ninjer, Joe Cox. I told many a player to mess up the game cocks!

-At the Dawg Walk I was wearing the beerdolier and got many compliments. No cash offers like last yr tho. Must be a good economic indicator. In 5 home games last year, I had the beer-do-lier bought off me for about twice what I paid for it 3 times. It loved getting told how awesome I was for wearing it. Really. I'm an attention whore.

-I ran in to a coworker while at the Dawg Walk. He was in a hurry to get something to eat, not that I blame him:) I forgot he was a preacher at one point in his life.

-The guy that was leading the \"I had a little rooster\" cheer looked a lot like Draco Malfoy from the Harry potter movies. So I yelled out, \"DRACO MALFOY\" a couple times. An entire section of the band turned, looked and laughed at me, and one of them explained that was his nickname. So, Draco Malfoy, wherever you are, way to lead the cheers and chants! You did slitherin' proud.

-From there I hoofed it to the North Campus by way of under Sanford bridge. Found my self shoulder to shoulder with some recruits and their families who were all nice people. I saw UGA but it was from so far away I didn't get his picture.

Walked up to North Campus. Someone asked me for one of the beers from my beerdolier. I asked him why I should give it to him, and he said he just got back from Iraq. I gave it to him.

Upon arriving on North Campus met up with my cousin Kyle. He was happy to see me.

I left to go use the bathroom after giving away the rest of my beerdolier's contents. I waited in line for half an hour and found myself in the most putrid portojohn I'd ever been it. This was exascerbated by the fact I was wearing flip flops.

I got back. Kyle is very wobbly, and has a solo cup of whiskey. This may have been a good idea when you could still stand up but'd probably just make him barf now. Luckily there was a two liter bottle of coca-cola which I convinced him to pour it into. I then tried to get him to go to the game in exchange for transportation to and from a game later in the season. He didnt want to. I gave him and his friends directions to landstwone rd and instructions on what to say once there. I dont think they did it but it wouldve gotten them some food.

Tried to find Zach in the student section after using my powers of stealth to get in, maybe 20 min before the game. Didnt see him so i went to my actual seats.

Got to my seats and am reminded in writing this to look up that photo gallery. my buddy greg vomited all over the place but we got the photo girl to get pics with us and him beofre that. nothing like professionally done shaming pics

Sat around some really nice people. A good time was had by all
T
he lady who was trying to throw the football through the hole at publix could only throw about 10 yards and failed miserably. She REALLY shouldve practiced before hand. It was so bad they shouldve played Willie Wonka on the scoreboard freaking out about her getting nothing and losing.

The game was a tense nailbiter. Lots of great plays coupled with lots of shooting our selves in the foot and Spurrier having our number on defense. AJ Green, Boykin and Curran did great jobs. Samuel looks like he's improving. Joe cox panicked like a deer in an elementary school and I'm betting there will be lots of running for getting a safety on a bonehead snap.

I called my wife, and left a voice mail where I said \"Hey listen to this\" and the Dawgs scored a TD for her.

On the walk back from the stadium I had this conversation with Shane about my cousin Kyle:
Shane: \"So you just left him like that?\"
Me:\"I'm sure he's fine wherever he is, it may be facedown in the grass on North Campus, but he's alright.\"
Shane:\"You should call him\"saiud
Me:\"Ok\"
Me:\"Hey, you alirght?\"
Kyle:\"Duuuuude I'm at some girls apartment\"
Me:\"k see ya\"
Me (to shane)\"yeah, he's alright\"

Got back and found two ladies sitting where flounder had been. Flounder then showed up and introduced them. They'd helped greg. They then said they were going to walk from where we were, near loop 10 at the parking deck, over to Alps rd. Good luck with that.

While stuck in traffic my stomach started rumbling something fierce. Floored it to the Kroger at 316 and loop 10. Its got a good clean bathroom and is open 24/7!

Got home safe and sound. Dreamed about snowskiing on these huge grass covered mountians on a sunny day and a clear blue sky. There were large runs of snow surrounded by deep green grass. The snow was melting so quickly that it was almost flowing down the mountain like a river. I was flying down it. Good end to a good day.
The only thing that wouldve made it perfect wouldve been if Katy woulda been there. Being pregnant, tailgating all day isnt really her thing, so she hung out in Augusta with her sister.

OH, and the state trooper fist bump was AWESOME. go to everydayshouldbesaturday.com to see it
