Can only guess the folks that are watching OSU and Houston. This will be to the point.
Watching an imaginative Offensive Coordinator with less talent than UGA has do the things that Houston is doing. This is only the first half, so with the amount of talent that Oklahoma State has, would look for them to come back. 24/7 Houston halftime.
Hoping tonight that we will see some of the same offensive thought go into the USC game. Houston is playing young folks that have talent, might not know the entire play book, but know how to play football.
I am not, and have not been a proponent of \"three yards and a cloud of dust\". Imagination and USING THE TALENT to their fullest is what I look for.
There is a reason that some teams like Texas Tech, last year, and this year throw the football. That is where your football team stands a chance to win. Those are the players that were \"recruited\" to wear the Red and Black. We have receivers.
If your number one running back has a problem when he is hit on the ankles, or another smaller back does not hold onto the football, or if your QB might be wounded, then it leaves me wondering what is up for us tonight. I hope that we pull our game together.
I live in Central Florida, have watched AM play football, along with OC, (same team) and know that we went through \"recruiting wars\" with Kiffin, Miami and UF. Those guys chose UGA. MB was the top receiver in Tennessee and was/is as good or better than most in the nation when we asked him to wear the Red and Black. Wooten, if ever given the chance will light the joint up.
I have said this before and will again, AM is very, very good. He sometimes tries too hard to do things that he should not. Has a great arm, reads defenses incredibly well. This young man is a coach on the field.
This is my question . . . . WHY ARE WE NOT USING OUR TALENT. Tired of hearing about top five recruiting classes. Is something missing when we have TOP FIVE RECRUITING CLASSES, year after year and are ranked in the lower part of the top twenties this year.
Remember this tonight when we watch UGA/USC, Brown and Wooten wondered why they did not get a chance last week to play.
The time for excuses are over. This thread started before the game tonight at 7 p.m. I sincerely hope UGA shows some offensive imagination. I also look for better defensive management as well.
Go Dawgs . . . . The time is NOW. NO EXCUSES.
