Gonna be a long season...

Every one is exactly right. Our D does play the run good, it is the weak soft zone that killed us last year and again this year. It is almost impossible to get the other team in a 3 and out. All they have to do is to throw alittle 5 or 7 yarder to pick up the first down and keep the chains movings. This is exactly what USC did on us last night to get back in the game and almost won. I just don't understand why we can not have the killer instict and put games on ice. We always find a way to keep every team we play into the game up until the end.

Not true. The fact is that when we were up by 12, the special teams and Joe Cox let SCarolina back in the game. We were up 38-26. Then you have the safety to make it 38-28. Then you have the pick-6. Then special teams saved the game for us by blocking the PAT.

We just played sloppy, non-Richt football. Something is SEVERELY wrong with this crop of players. SEVERELY.

I guarantee that if Georgia Defense is like this again against Arkansas Martinez will be in trouble. Because there's no doubt that Georgia has the talent on the Defensive side of the ball. But as we all watched the Defense play the entire first quarter you could tell that the defense was tired.
