Joe Cox frustration?

A quote from Joe Cox:
“Half the people who have stuff to say after games have never played a down of football before in their entire life. I wouldn’t criticize somebody for something I’ve never played before or never done before, but some people feel it’s their place to say how somebody is doing when they’ve never done it before. That’s just something I’ve never understood. Stuff like that doesn’t bother me. You’ve got to look at the source, and if it’s somebody who’s never played football, I could care less what you say.”

This ain't good.

I can see what he is saying, but he hasn't exactly played a whole lot of significant downs of football himself.

Yea...way to show some moxy there Joe. This might be a long season boys.

Yeah, I like Joe, and think he's a good guy, but that's a pretty stupid statement. I've never been a TV repairman, but if I have one come to my house to repair my TV, and it doesn't work when he leaves, I can safely say he's not very good.

Still, I think this quote shows me that Joe Cox truly does care, and that he is not immune to the criticism, and that he will go out there and play better come Sat. night to shut his critics up...just offering up another point of view.
