Guys I feel your pain. I sometimes sit and wonder if CMR has taken us as far as he can. I do not care for CWM and CMB doesn't impress me with his play calling. I do not understand why CMR quit calling games, he made his name by calling games not managing a team. Then I remember these young men who drop passes, drop interceptions, miss tackles, and commit mental errors and draw penalties.Then comes the ever so famous top 5 recruiting class. We build these young men up, tell them they are one of the five best players at their position in the country and they haven't even played a down of college ball. Ranking recruiting classes is as useless as preseason rankings. I don't know where the problem lies, but I do remember a coach with great talent named Goff. He was always close, but could never escape injuries. We got rid of him and then came Donnan we all know how that turned out. I really wish I could blame everything on the coaching staff or even the fact that we may not have as much talent as we think we do, but I can't. So, I will continue to do the same thing I have done since I was 8. I will make every effort I can to watch and root the DAWGS on, hoping to see the next great DAWG take us to the NC. I am not trying to offend anyone, but that 80 team would have not been close if not for the greatest college player in the history of the game. I urge everyone to give this team a chance and yes even CWM. This could prove to be a very enjoyable season.
