Fan is short for fanatic!!!!

I have avoided posting on this board for some time. The reason is most of the posts come from that cross section of people that I call fanstics, not realistic Georgia supporters. Look at the schedule folks, it may the most difficult in the nation. We may loose five games this year. This could be CMR first loosing season. We have a unproven QB, no runnig game to speak of and only one proven go to guy at wide received. Our coaching staff is not well organized and doesn't seem to understand the need to motivate young people. The special teams don't understand how to tackle in the open field, our backs can't comprehend the need to hold onto the ball when tackled, and we have no one who can put the ball in the endzone on kickoffs. If they did that one thing we wouldn't have to worry so much on the kickoff returns which seems to
have been our down fall last year and this year so far. I've said this before that CMR has no \"fire in his belly.\" He needs to get his players attention and get in their face when a mistake is made. Make them look him in the eye when he is addressing these issues. We can't fire all the coaches in mid stream, but we can get everyone on the same page. With the caliber of people we recurit, this should not be a problem to coach them up. For the fiasco that was called a football game this past Saturday the coaches should shoulder the blame for the poor preference. By the way I hope NC Dawg is doing well and didn't have any set back from this past Saturday. NC I'll keep in in my thoughts and prayers.

I am a die hard dawg fan that is realistic. I listened to all the different people saying our defense will be really strong this year and we may struggle a little in the beginning on offense but with what I saw Sat. we are no better on defense and we will struggle to get even asked to a bowl. I have never thought CMR was the best coach for this team but he was good for a father figure. I'm still upset about Irk Russell not getting the coaching job, now that was defense. We have the talent we just don't have that fire. My restaurant in the middle of East TN is full of GA stuff and I show all the SEC games. I've been taking crap since I opened in June of this year but I love my dawgs and just want to see the game played the way SEC football is meant to be played. We need a defensive coach and CMR needs to act like he did for the Flordia game 2 years ago with the end zone event. He knows the game he just needs to quit being everyones friend on the field and be their boss. Let's hope we get Cox to be the backup and get the true freshman in the game and get tailback U back in business. Has GA guit producing kickers? I'm hoping the guys were embarressed by the game and get it in gear. This team brings back memories of the Quincy Carter years. Lets hope for a good game Sat.
