Greetings to all !!!!!!!

Between the national/worldwide economic turmoil, a state devoid of finances or the fundamental leadership to endure and press forward, along with some personal health issues, I've not had the time to spend more than a passing glance at these internets!!!! It certainly looks like the board is alive and well as we draw ever closer to Stillwater....Unlike many seasons past, I've not seen any fanatic posts from those that we will soon oppose and dispose...

There was a time when preseason brought the wrath of urenge, nerd and tigerwareagleplainsmen all spewing their brand of prognastication....and where are the Pokes?!?!?....Smack talk is running in deep pools of excriment on many of the other boards....Steve must have deployed a cloaking mechanism to sheild DT from the vitriol!!!

Nonetheless, I look forward with great anticipation to this season. FINALLY, JC will get his opportunity, something that I've awaited for many years...As many may recall, I was never a big MS fan....million dollar arm, ten cent head...and he has continued in the NFL exactly how he left college football...JC is a tactician, a learned student of the game and the entire gamebook. Like those who came before him, Bobo, Greene and Shockley, JC should poised under center and methodical with the game plan...a much needed and freshing break!!! I will, however, very much miss the speed, highlights and enthusiasm that Moreno brought to the game...




Unfortunately, I believe CK will go the way of the Pass's, Lumpkin's and Milton's! Fortunately, the stable is full and the time will be great for a new name to rise up and claim fame...The lines, both O and D are veteran and deep....Yes, this could very well be a season to remember.........

And for all those that stood in opposition to CWM....sit back, watch and enjoy!!!

NC_Dawg, really good to see you back and in good health I hope.

Think that many in the Dawg Nation agree with your assessment of QB Cox.

Also in agreement with your thoughts on King. Seems to be one thing after another, want the best for him as I believe that this was a chance for the young man to prove himself and go on to other ventures that could have been rewarding.

Here is hoping that you are right on the call of WM. The men are there that can get the job done, we will see how this plays out. Go Dawgs!

It is NOW.....subsequent to a stent following a 99% blockage of my RAC....Fortunately I suffered no MI...but the lifestyle change SUX.....!!!
