Buc, I love it!
GaBoi, I by no means meant that one game could save WM position, however, going against as potent an offense as OSU has, it would be a step in the right direction to hold them to a low score.

One thing I love that was printed in Lindy's Southeastern Football Preview in their Top 25 (and I'm paraphrasing):
\"Oklahoma State is great if you like bright, shiny objects. They play with a lot of style and not much substance. And by substance we mean defense. And by defense, we mean they don't play a lot of it in Stillwater.\"
Nice!
Of course, they had Oklahoma State #10 and Georgia #17, so...

Oops . . . how could I possibly forget the recognition of this defensive player. My bad . . . . UGA looks real strong up the middle on paper this season.
Rennie Curran
One of his comments being . . . \"Every morning when I wake up, I am still 5'10 1/2\". Rennie you are one powerful package and if some of the 6 footers play to their ability UGA is going to be tough to handle. :woohoo:
Rennie Curran was a Butkus Award finalist and selected first-team All-SEC by the coaches last year as a sophomore when he led Georgia with 115 tackles.

Buc, my guy told me the other day that talk is that they are thinking more of putting Washington at Mike LB (middle). At 250 lbs. they want to make it almost impossible to run between the tackles on us. They may keep Curran there but that was some of the talk in Athens.

wlayton guess that goes back to some of the conversation we had in another thread. Washington being used as LB and DE in the nickel. I am really glad that we are seeing the defensive unit being \"tinkered\" with. Think that there may be a message there for some.
Put Rennie Curran anywhere on the field and he will make plays, just his makeup. Don't know how many have watched some of the Florida video replays (we get a lot of them here in Florida) but this is what they were doing with their defense last year.
Going way back this year with one of your quotes . . . . \"Have to get pressure off of the edge\". Amen Brother!!

Yeah, I love Curran but if he does end up playing in the middle, they are going to have to keep bodies off of him. He's not that big and if an OL gets on him, he's in trouble. Washington at 250 lbs could handle that aspect better. I'm like you though, I thought Washington plyed great off the edge in the G-Day game......nobody could block him (of course it was just the spring game).
