What are Two a Days like?

Good read DFIT. This scenario is played out all across the USA. Truly football can and does build character in many and most cases.

DFT....I'm blocked AGAIN!! I've got to just start signing on from aol or something and not through my company.

Great article DFIT.... takes me back. I remember lots of soaking, Ben Gay, naps in the gym, and many salt tablets. All you older guys remember them before people realized they weren't too good for you.

Yeah, I remember those days as if they were yesterday. At the time I HATED summer camp!! But as I get older, I wish I could go back just for a day and strap on a set of pads and lay a few licks. I really miss those days. If I could give just one piece of advice to current players, dont take it for granted! Before you know it you will be like me and out of school for 9 years and wishing you could go back. I know that your hating it now, but you will miss it one day, TRUST ME! And if you are talented enough to make it to the next level, consider yourself lucky. Most players never make it to that next level. And when your on that field make the best of every play, even in practice. Sorry guys, just had to get that off my chest. This time of year really hits me hard. I miss playing so much.

Hey watson and fire_dawg......I have mentioned this to my wife many times.....wouldn't it be great for UGA to raise a little money from guys like us and have a weekend football camp with shorts, jerseys, helmets and cleats etc (they wouldn't allow hitting). They could charge us a bunch and we could get there on Friday settle in and start practicing on thru late Sat (long practices so we all could soak in up) and have a game in the stadium on Sunday with a dozen or so current players mixed in on both teams. Have refs, clock, 10 minute qtrs etc. Seven on seven, flag game then everyone goes out to eat at a gathering together. HOW MUCH FUN WOULD THAT BE!!!!!!!!!!

Just a bunch of old jocks, donating money to the school, playing with several of the current players and the ULTIMATE.....semi-STRAPPING IT ON IN SANFORD STADIUM.......HEY, even pipe in crowd noise. Wouldn't that be an ULTIMATE weekend!!!!
