Robert Dozier

You can say what you want about Dennis Felton, but you can't say he's a dishonest man. The latest report is that Robert Dozier, the second Memphis standout from their dominant run under John Calipari, cheated on his first SAT and then did so poorly on his second SAT that Georgia (and Coach Felton) denied him admission. So he went to Memphis, where Derrick Rose also got in on a questionable SAT. Now the man behind all of this, John Calipari, is coaching against us, in the SEC East at Kentucky.

Look, we may never win a single basketball game at Georgia ever again. But I'd rather that be true than the kind of dishonest shenanigans that happened under Jim Harrick, or that seem to be happening under John Calipari. If Vince Dooley's legacy is nothing more than this, I'm fine: that UGA Athletics are a clean, clean group of programs. Hold your heads up high, Dawgs. You can go 0-30, but at least you're not ethically bankrupt.

GO DAWGS!!!

Well said . . . .

When UGA first hired Fox, it made me take a step back and ask the question --who is this . . .

I now know who Coach Fox is and it makes me appreciate the administration at our beloved school had the foresight and determination to select the right man. I feel that has been accomplished.

Reason for that . . . Coach Richt and Coach Fox apparently have become pretty close. I do not believe that Coach Richt would rub elbows with anyone that came close to the type person that Harrick was.

Some folks at UGA were duped when Jim Harrick was hired, it was not the first run in that he had with the NCAA. Son seemed to sit under the same tent.

I believe that Dennis Felton was and is a good man, he was hired in a difficult situation and it just did not work for him. A lot of folks would have (failed?)if that is the right word to be used in that situation.

Calipari was not hired at UK to lose. Sometimes that puts a serious yoke around a coach, team and schools neck. Get your popcorn, the show starts now soon.

It'll be quite fun to watch Calipari and Kiffin as the NCAA secondary violations fly around like so much toilet paper. But when the big regulations get handed down, it's gonna be must-see TV. And I can't wait.
