I just got back from the baseball regional in Tallahassee. It went about as expected. Our bullpen couldn't get the job done and keep us in the games. Holder was doing a fine job against FSU and then they took him out and they blew it wide open. We had no arms left for the Ohio State game and our relivers looked like they were throwing batting practice.
Ohio State is in the process of being slaughtered by FSU. The same thing would have happened to us if we had won that game. It was a war between UGA and tOSU (until the 7th inning) in the first game and neither team had anything left in the tank after that.
If anybody is paying attention to the FSU-tOSU game that currently has FSU leading 31-0 in the 5th inning, the record for the most lopsided loss in NCAA history came in 1999, when Nebraska beat Illinois-Chicago 50-3. That was a regular season game though. This here might be the biggest rout in postseason history.
