I wasw meeting with some associates in California. A guy there came up to me to tell me a UGA story.
He and I were there from 1972-76. During that time a student activity known as \"Streaking\" was popular. It involved a mass of students running naked across campus.
They started at the Georgia Center for Continuing Ed and ran to the quad across the stadium bridge. There must have been over a thousand that night because it took about 10-15 minutes for them all to run down the hill to the stadium. I was a 16mm film cameraman and was freelance filming it for channel 5 news standing on the Physics dept steps.
Most had clothes waiting for them. Not this fellow. He walked around for 2 hours as the only naked person because his brother was not there with the clothes.
Tom, I hope you have become a visitor by now. I am sorry I stole your story but I couldn't hold it back any longer. I had to tell the board here. Does anyone else have any stories about the \"Streak\"?
