All right, the Softball win got us to the WCWS. But our Diamond Dawgs still have business to take care of in the SEC Tournament on the baseball side of the diamond. Today at 2:30/1:30 central, our men take on LSU (against whom we are 1-2 this year) to determine absolute advantage on Sunday. The winner only has to win once Sunday to take home the SEC crown. The loser must win twice. Personally, I'm glad we got LSU. We're 1-2 against them, whereas SCarolina just swept us.
But folks, our jobs as fans ain't done. If you believe in good vibes, send them down to Alabama and our Dawgs. Time to bring it home! We already have one \"first\" in school history with our women making it to the WCWS. Why not another one, the first SEC Tourney title in history? We can do it if we return to our early and midseason form. If there's anything baseball lovers know, it's that two bad weeks do NOT define a team.
