While it is the slow time of the year for a lot of us, I have been giving some thought to the upcoming year and figured this would be a good place to start.

I was (was) probably the strongest supporter of Blair Walsh on this site. Needless to say, he did not fulfill my expectations for his place on the UGA football team. Blair did some good things, but it just goes to show that some of the ratings coming out of high school don't carry over to college ball. Meaning 3, 4 or 5 star athletes are just that, talking head ratings. Think that he was rated as the #2 kicker in the country.

It is only fair that I should be fair to Blair, and I will. Shoveled through some sites that I and many others visited last football season and this particular article came to mind.

Couple of places that I mark in bold type that I either want to see happen or wonder if they will happen.

Tried to post a site about Branden Bogotay (spelling)? Was not allowed.

Want to see the football go into the end zone some of the time and not out of bounds as with the GT game. I moan and groan about the defense, but when the teams the caliber of SEC teams start on the 40, IT AIN'T ABOUT THE DEFENSE. EXCEPT FOR THIS . . . . KICKING AND PUNTING AMOUNTS TO DEFENSIVE FOOTBALL. Sorry, did not mean to get loud. Love my (our) Dawgs. Folks pick out some areas that concern you and post them, heck, let's talk.

My only real concern is @ RB. Every time KM left the game last year our drives stalled. No other running back on the squad gave me even the slightest bit of hope. The only thing i can see that will make us look like we can run is that our O line is going to be a beast this year. But we really dont have anyone that as proven to be a UGA running back. If CT was bigger, he would definately be our guy. He's just not going to be the guy that will move the pile when we need. hope someone steps up.

Goooooo Dawgs...Sic'em...Woof Woof Woof!!!
