I hope Steve will forgive me posting a non sports related thread, but I'm a little giddy here. My Florida-loving wife (that's the state, not the school btw) just said to me \"hey, why don't we take a trip to Athens? I'd love to see it.\"
Here's the deal. I left Athens five years after graduating UGA. I'm a little behind on the where and what of the area now. I'm planning to come up a week or two after graduation and spend three days. One of those days will be a trip up to Helen, but I'd like the wife to get a little of the Athens experience, so I'd like to ask any of you who still live in the area for ideas for my short trip to God's country. Also, if anyone has a suggestion of a reasonably priced hotel, I'd like that too.
And, so we don't clog the forum with non-dawgs related stuff, feel free to shoot me an email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Like I said, I'm giddy at this. I might be able to save her after all, lol. At the very least, my facebook page will get more pictures. \"Here I am in front of Sanford Stadium.\" \"This is me under the Arch.\".....giddy. Giddy.
