I hope all this controversy and Coach Carroll's arrogance and attitude with his players will take some of the luster and sheen off that recruiting train. It takes great talent to get to the top but it takes great talent and character to stay there! GATA Dawgs!!!

Mark my words, it won't do a thing to the media. You'll hear a lot of Democrat excuses, \"this was a long time ago,\" \"this is a non-issue,\" etc. USC will still be media darlings. They'll get #1 votes no matter how much they suck.

Hey, Republicans make those excuses, too! ESPECIALLY when it comes to Gingrich's, McCain's, Limbaugh's, and Reagan's divorces. But that's neither here nor there, since this is an apolitical forum...right?

On the media tip, RxDawgboy, you're absolutely correct. The media will make the same excuses as they make for Ohio State when they put them in the top four every year, even as THEY have been under investigation for the past couple of years. Sickening.

Then again, I like our position under the radar this year. Could be a good year for my Georgia teams, between my under-the-radar Dawgs and my under-the-radar Braves...

The problem with the Big 10 in general is, there are a LOT of guys in the media, especially on ESPN, who went to Big 10 schools. And I mean a LOT. The Big 10 is always going to be perennially over-rated. Always. That's never going to change.
