Number One Again

After our sweep of #25 Impostor State over the weekend -- coupled with #1 UNC and #2 Texas both dropping games -- Collegiate Baseball has us ranked #1 yet again, just in time to take on mighty Wright State and lowly Georgia Tech this week.

...or is that the other way around?

Great rally in the 8th yesterday. Could've easily settled for two out of three but that's not their style. Good job, D-Dawgs!!!!

Georgia remains undefeated at home through the fifth week of the season. That's unreal. GO DAWGS!

Blah. Ain't it just like the Dawgs...we just can't stand success. Two days after being named #1 in two polls for the second time this season, we drop an 8-5 decision, giving up six unearned runs in one inning, to Wright frickin' State. We BETTER rebound against Tech tonight...they ain't #3 for nothing!

Then again, we lost to a TERRIBLE Winthrop team last year and ended up in the finals of the CWS. So maybe we need losses like this. Who knows? But I tell you, I'm gonna keep hurting till we win again. And a loss to Tech will NOT help my mood, Dawgs, so get out there and GET AFTER IT!!!
