Well, unfortunately our Gym Dawgs made some MAJOR mistakes on their first event of the evening and had to count a fall on beam at SECs, scoring a 48.6 -- their lowest score on ANY event all year long. So 'Bama is SEC Champions this year.
But guess what? 'Bama won the SEC Championship in 2007, too. Remember 2007? Yeah, we won the national title that year. So it's still in the cards. Coach Yoc won coach of the year for the 8th time, Courtney Kupets was named Gymnast of the Year and Grace Taylor was named Student-Athlete of the Year at the meet.
GO DAWGS!!! On to the NATIONAL stage!
