After Day Two, Georgia's Lady Swim Dawgs are still in second place; however, now they only trail the first-place Cal Bears by 6.5 points! Defending national champs Arizona fell to third place, 13.5 points behind the Dawgs, and Georgia's 200 medley relay team of Kristen Schickora, Kelly McNichols, Lisa Caprioglio and Anne-Marie Botek took first place, winning Georgia's second national title of the meets.
Keep pacing, Dawgs! While others are inconsistent, just keep gaining ground and bring that national title right back to Athens!!!
Final Update: Cal just won its first-ever national title, while our Dawgs came in second for the fifth time in school history, breaking our tie between first- and second-place finishes. Several individual national titles came home to Athens, however, and our Dawgs made marked improvement over last year's dismal showing. Let's dominate the pool next year, Dawgs!!!
