Found this to be an interesting read. Reminds me of the Navy Seals. Spent time in the Navy many years ago, but not with the Seals or what these young men are doing to prepare themselves for football and life. I have real good feelings about the 2009 football season. Go You Silver Britches!

Ditto, Buc. Fantastic article. Makes me think JoeC will lead our Dawgs to great things this year. And Rennie Curran may step up and become yet another storied defensive leader in Georgia annals!

GO DAWGS!!!

By the way...as a frequent detractor of Reshad Jones during his boneheaded freshman year, it's great to see him as one of \"the three.\" Way to go, #9! Way to step up!!!

dapolla, we are on the same page here. Last year spent some time screaming at the TV and the play of Jones. Great talent, just too many penalties. Hoping this year that improves. One reason for the less than favorable play by Jones I think was the lack of understanding as to what to do with the defenses being run in certain situations. Showing those Red and Black colors this spring, stepping up, just really hope that we find those sorely needed leaders. Feel sure Cox is going to use that \"Red Headed Fire\" to keep the offensive side on task.

Following the baseball team, love baseball. This team from all I can read and absorb is the \"real thing\". Last years team was no cream puff. Keep us (me) informed, know that you make the trek to Athens on occasion.

wlayton, somewhere early this morning I found an article that I had not read. It was AJ Green being interviewed about the upcoming season and Joe Cox. He is sold on JC, wish I could find the article, have looked all afternoon, no can do. Should not say this but . . . . . I believe this is a better team than we had last year. There are some serious athletes hanging their hats in Athens. Watching some film on Ealey, this dude does not go down with arm tackles, has some of that Walker moxie in his body. Might be hard not to play him his freshman year.

Guys i am getting more and more excited as the days go by. I don't feel this is a rebuilding year at all. Yes we are reloading but not rebuilding. We have key players in the right positions to make this team a very big sleeper in the SEC and country! The biggest thing we were missing last year has been found already this year. LEADERSHIP - can't count how many times we talked about this over the season. This will make us remember the 05 team with DJ and barring injuries this team could be a contender in Novemeber. Hope i am right on this one! Go DAWGS and keep up the hard work because you will need it later in life!!!
