Todd Mcshea's mock draft was created by fire_dawg
I know it's a \"mock draft\" but has anyone else seen this? He has MS going as #1. Not that I expected any different, but with all the talk about the possility of Sanchez going #1 since MS was not going to throw at the combine. Just thought it was good conversation.

MS started for 3 years, Sanchez only started 16 games.....no contest.

With MS projected to go #1 in the draft, there was no surprise he wouldn't throw in the combine. He could only cost himself a lot of money. On the other hand, Sanchez had to throw. I agree wlayton, Sanchez lacks experience. I think it's preposterous Sanchez would be even remotely compared to MS as an NFL ready QB. Then again, I am drinking that Red and Black koolaid again. B)

Stafford's got an arm made out of a Wurlitzer. Why in the hell would he throw at the combine? He didn't have to. He's lucky they don't have a \"making a decision in the pocket when your team's down by more than a score or when you're playing South Carolina or in Lexington\" drill.

Sorry, guys, but I'm just not sold on Stafford being NFL ready. I'd much MUCH rather Kansas City take him third, so he can sit for a season or so behind Damon Huard and learn decision-making skills. If he goes to Detroit, they'll start him right away, and he'll have a David Carr-like career. And he doesn't deserve that.

He really should have stayed another year, just to get ready. But it's okay. As the man says, Joe Cox doesn't know how to lose!

dapolla, Detroit just signed Culpepper for this year too. Thats not saying much but atleast there is a good veteran to help him along. I expect Culpepper to start the season and MS being in there towards mid season???

I agree MS should have stayed another year but he had no choice.....especially the way the economy is now starting to affect sports and believe it's going to affect the sports scene much much more before it recovers (IF it does). He needed to get the money now, may not be as much later.
