UGA Formations was created by Buc
It has been a little quiet since signing day, thought I would throw this out and see what many of you folks think.
Would you consider some form of the spread offense being incorporated into UGA's offensive system. While I understand we have some top notch receivers on board, would or could some variation of the spread work for us. Just posing the question, it is called curious. Go Dawgs!

I think keeping a balance attack this year is huge. LG in the shot gun with a QB option will be a nice change. CMR and CMB are licking their chops with the options they have offensivly. Depending on the run game this year I expect to see a lot of single back formations. A pro stlye set with 2 RB's split in the backfield and TE(OC) split to the outside would be fun inside the 40. There just two many options what a nice feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I dont know about you guys, but I would LOVE to see some more HB and WR screens. No one would expect much of that from us and they usually turn into at least a 1st down if not a huge gain up field.

I think were going to see lots of new things this year. CMR is hungry for a championship, I just hope he does what it takes this year. Also i hope the fact that hes standing up for and by his side of CWM doesn't hurt him or us this year. Like i said earlier we need that spirit back and that fire lit under everybody's A$$ thats involved with our program. I am so sick and tired of falling short we need everybody to take it personal it's the only way. Because until we get a playoff we will never be better than USC, Texas, Oklahoma, and so on, even if we are 100 times better. I could go on all day but im not yall get my point. LET'S GET MEAN GO DAWGS!!!!

Hey Buc, I'm not in favor of a WV or UF style of spread offense. I believe defenses will eventually learn to defense them. To me they are semi gimmicky. Now with that said, I would like to see them \"spread\" the field with WR's in the passing game. Put 4 out wide, spread the field with Green, Brown etc and let it fly. Also like the idea of a \"package\" with LG for a change up but other than that I prefer the pro-style offense and very good balance. I believe that offense works best in the long run.

I agree wih some of what everybody's saying. I think the balanced, pro-style attack is best. I'd like to see a \"wild dawg\" type formation in certain situations, a la UF in '06, and LSU in '07. I would also like to see many more WR screens out of the standard formation. Hopefully we will with the receivers we'll have.
