I'm with GaBoi on this one. I'm not ready to drink the red and black kool-aid yet. Our D was atrocious last season. We lost and gave up 400 yds on the ground to GT for crying out loud.
I know I keep harping on this, but we did have 20 SEASON-ENDING INJURIES! Our D was good at the start of the season. Not great, but good. By mid-season, not so good.
This coming season we have an untested RB corp and a questionable D.
I'll agree with this statement. Untested RB corps might be our downfall.
If the injuries start to mount again early we may have a tough season.
Yes, but this is always true. Of any team. In any sport. Doesn't just apply to us. Deal with it. 2007 = 2 season-enders. 2008 = 20. Do the math.
The fact is, folks, that a lot of what happened last year was beyond our control. The third quarter against Tech was the only unforgivable thing that happened, in my book. And last year is last year. Remember what happened in 2001? Okay. Remember what happened the next year? Same thing with 2006 and 2007. Same thing with 1979 and 1980, to be perfectly frank.
