I'm with GaBoi on this one. I'm not ready to drink the red and black kool-aid yet. Our D was atrocious last season. We lost and gave up 400 yds on the ground to GT for crying out loud.

This coming season we have an untested RB corp and a questionable D. If the injuries start to mount again early we may have a tough season.

I agree Marlon Brown should see action early. I expect Cox to be able to handle the QB duties with ease. I just worry about our backfield.

Losing Moreno hurt more than I think most of us care to admit. If our running game can't control tempo and our D leaks as much as it did this season I expect a 2-3 loss season at best.

Marlon Brown is great in B ball too and could play that as well, maybe he will convince AJG to join the B Ball team next year cuz he is awesome at B Ball too.

I know I keep harping on this, but we did have 20 SEASON-ENDING INJURIES! Our D was good at the start of the season. Not great, but good. By mid-season, not so good.

I'll agree with this statement. Untested RB corps might be our downfall.

Yes, but this is always true. Of any team. In any sport. Doesn't just apply to us. Deal with it. 2007 = 2 season-enders. 2008 = 20. Do the math.

The fact is, folks, that a lot of what happened last year was beyond our control. The third quarter against Tech was the only unforgivable thing that happened, in my book. And last year is last year. Remember what happened in 2001? Okay. Remember what happened the next year? Same thing with 2006 and 2007. Same thing with 1979 and 1980, to be perfectly frank.

Great recruiting class and MAY add one more great one......agree, RB's worry me.....we needed to recruit MORE defensive players (mainly DE's, LB's and safeties)........M Brown is a huge addition but is very raw, not quite as polished as Green coming in, he may take a little longer than Green did to start......perfect QB scenario, Cox can get it done while Murray and Mettenberger learn the system.
