I'm not too worried about UT yet. They still don't have a QB and the Tampa 2 D Monte likes to run I hear is pretty complicated. I don't expect them to light the world on fire next season.

Although, I do think it is a game the Dawgs can lose.

As for Meyer, well when you win 2 NCs in 5 season you get the right to be an arrogant SOB. I don't like it but at the end of the day it is what it is. The Dawgs need to start winning the cocktail party more often.

Go Dawgs!!!!

You never get the right to act the way Meyer does. I'll give you a few examples.

Steve Spurrier owned us in the 1990s. Is he a great coach? Yes. Is he a great man? Hardly.

Bobby Dodd owned us back in the 1950s. Was he a great coach? One of the best ever. Was he a great man? One of the best ever.

Bobby Dodd won himself a couple of titles, too. The difference between the two men is in the type of men they are. Not in the number of titles won, or in the way in which they dominated us.

Excellent post dapolla, especially the Bobby Dodd FACTS. I was a UGA supporter then just as I am now and have always been, however did get to watch Coach Dodd run the Tech program with class. Dodd was class personified. Coach Richt reminds me of Coach Dodd in a lot of ways, that is a compliment.

Want to post this little diddy that I looked up . . . . .

\"With the staff now complete, not only do we have the best recruiters in the SEC but some of the best in the country,\" Kiffin said. \"To be able to take South Carolina's recruiting coordinator, Mississippi State's recruiting coordinator, Alabama's best recruiter and Auburn's best recruiter over the past 10 years was a great accomplishment for us.\"

Shows the obvious feelings that Coach Garner has for UGA and Coach Richt. Thanks again Coach Garner and also to Coach Richt for his Coach Dodd similarities. Go Red and Black!

The only thing that I hate about Dodd is that his greatness as a coach AND as a man means that the Coach of the Year award is named after someone from #$#*&ing Tech.

GO DAWGS!!!
