Looks like we could use another good DB commit--

from georgiadogs.com:

ATHENS, Ga. --- University of Georgia junior cornerback Asher Allen announced on Tuesday afternoon that he will be entering the 2009 NFL Draft.

“This was the hardest decision of my life because of my love and respect for Georgia and everyone who is affiliated with Georgia, including the fans, my teammates, my coaches, the academic staff and everyone else ,” Allen said. “I have been chasing this dream of playing in the NFL and after making this decision with my family, I feel like I am ready for this next step. But I owe everyone the world who has helped me out during my time at Georgia.”

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

Keeping fingers crossed on Reid, sadlerdawg. Incredible potential, thinking maybe a better athlete than Allen. Good luck to AA, big step and chance he is taking.

Not to mention Branden Smith. He is taller and a whole lot faster than either of our starting corners. This Jordan Love from Va that has committed to us could be the sleeper this year. With the taller receivers in football now, I like seeing CMR looking at the taller corners. AA was good for us and I wish him well in the NFL. Hope he does UGA proud!

I heard on the radio that Branden Smith is susposed to be extremly athletic. He is going to be a versitile threat that has the potential to be used on both sides of the ball. He was being compared to Champ Bailey... But who knows.
