Fiesta Bowl

Did anybody watch this turd of a game? Honestly, I forgot it was on until this morning when I went to espn.go.com to find out whether or not my Braves had signed anybody yet. (they haven't...sigh...another long six months)

Regardless of what you say about HYPEspn, I'll be glad when the BCS is off of Fox. What the hell are they thinking, spacing the bowls out this far apart? Who in the world is going to care about a Fiesta Bowl that's on the frickin' fifth?

I honestly want to know. If there was still a poll option on this thing, I'd want to set up a poll: Who watched the Fiesta Bowl? Who avoided it? Who, like me, forgot it was on?

I watched it. don't like the dragging the bowl season out, though. Enjoyed the game b/c I have a severe dislike of Ohio State (school, fans, team that have an unwarranted overly high opinion of their importance) and always enjoy seeing them lose. Would have been better if it was an SEC team beating them again.

The way the Bowls are spread out is why we have an agrument for a playoff! it's stupid to spread them out. Thursday nights game is the only thing that matters after the 1st. i do understand some of the changes this year because you had two stadiums holding NFL playoff games, but at the beginning of the season who wouldve thought Arizona and Miami would be in the playoffs:laugh: Play the rose bowl and another BCS game on the 1st then play the remaining games the following days.

I'm a traditionalist. I use to love to get up on New Years day to watch a zillion bowls in 12 hours. It was such a fun and great day the way it use to be with all the major bowls on that same day.

Wlayton, i have to agree with you but i can remember waking up on the 2nd and thinking \"Oh God, Football is over!\" at least now it's a slow end to the season. this year though it's drawn out way to far and i know the weekend played a small part in the scheduling. the 5th should be the latest a bowl is played!!!!

Yeah, that's a plus to have a few more games to wean (sp?) us off college football. Yeah, the 2nd was like the day after Christmas.....depressing.
