New Power Confrence

Signs of a playoff and the Power Confrences. My thoughts on getting to a playoff.

Pac-10 adds Boise and Utah to make 12 and have a Championship game.

SEC,ACC,Big 12, stay the same.

Big 11 adds one more for 12 and has a championship game.

Big East goes to 12 with a Championship game.

Confrence USA is compiled of the best 12 teams left geographical
Notre Dame can be the head of Confrence USA and keep their TV contract.

Now you have 7 champions and one At Large team (the highest ranked team left)

This is almost idiot prove but would take years to accomplish this format with all the changes. To have an undefeated team out there that probably won't break the top 2 in the final polls is crazy. i feel USC will be #2 in both polls no matter what happens in the FL / OU game. could this work??? better than what we have NOW!!

It would work. Lots of different scenarios I've seen would work. College presidents do not care what the fans think or want. They are the decision makers for a playoff format, and they do not want one. College presidents are academic businessmen that do not get elected or have to be accountable to anyone but a board of trustees. Playoff aint gonna happen til college presidents decide it's gonna happen.

There has to be away for these clowns to make there money. We all know FOOTBALL brings in the money to these universities, so why not get together align the confrences and make them play championships at the end of the year and cut the season back to 10 games + Championship. Then what ever they want to do after that is fine. i'm just giving them 7 of the best teams in the country on the field not ranked by a computer! Fl,OK,Cincy,Va Tech,USC,Penn St.,Tulsa,Texas(at large highest ranked team after championships are played) would make up this playoff. Tulsa? we would have to change Con. USA a little:lol: but it all still revolves around that FAT $$$$$$!!!!!
