I have always been a big believer in \"you play like you practice\"!! It doesn't matter how long you have played your sport, to be the best, you have to continually practice ALL elements of your sport. With continous reps, you train your body and mind to handle situations during the contest as they arise....automatically. IMO, this philosophy applies to ANY sport if played at the HIGHEST level. Just like a great recipe, you can't leave out any of the ingredients.
