Couldn't agree more! I've been saying this for the past two seasons. Tebow is a superb college QB, but falls right in line with the historical trend of Florida QB's: they blow it up in college and stink it up in the pros - if they even make it. Look at Chris Leak: winner of the National Championship and didn't even get drafted. He's not playing football anymore. Florida does not prepare their quarterbacks for pro football, that's the short of the long of it.

Tebow does not fit the mold of an NFL quarterback and if he tries to carry over Urban Meyer's gimmicky offense and the I-need-to-do-everything-at-this-position mentality, he's going to get killed in the NFL - fast. He'll get drafted and sit the pine for a while, he'll get his shot to step in to fill a role and do nothing spectacular. The Tebow-mania will end when he leaves Florida.

bpatters69.....FYI, there's a guy here in Jax that work's for CBSsports.com and has his own sports radio show that travels year round with the NFL and he reports CONSTANTLY the NFL braintrusts say that MS is THE best NFL QB prospect coming out this year, hands down (and he really doesn't like UGA very much)!! So don't have any clue what you are reading concernings \"the NFL says\". Oh, and if you will check the SEC stats, you will se that he led the league in passing while running a \"run first\" oriented offense. Oh, and all behind an injured, reshuffled, INEXPERIENCED OL.

You may want to do more research before you come on this forum making uninformed comments like that.

NOW, I totally agree with you about Tebow but some team will draft him by the 2nd round anyway (he probably won't come out anyway).

And if you are \"fishing\" like Buc stated, you may want to get a bigger \"boat\" load of knowledge.

Ok. We will see. I have seen great college QBs like Stafford come and go. Don't be mistaken I am a true Dawg fan. I just call them like I see them. The bottom line is I don't think Stafford is accurate. Listen to the NFL coaches. They will tell you that they can make a QB more accurate but they cannot make an inaccurate passer accurate. Sorry to say but Stafford is not accurate enough for the NFL. If I am wrong, I will be the first to come back here and say so.

you are so right. ms isnt accurate at all. 61% is with a patchwork O Line is AWFUL. 215 of 352 for 3209 yards...that is terrible. oh, dont forget the fact that if it wasnt for him we would be having a worse season than we are now. OMG WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO IF HE COMES BACK AND SCREWS UP ANOTHER SEASON?!?!?!?!

if you haven't picked it up yet, im laying the sarcasim on pretty thick!!!:woohoo:

Goooooo Dawgs...Sic'em...Woof Woof Woof!!!
