Tech Kick

I can't remember if it was Buc or wlayton who wrote a post last year before the fla game that said something about \"...and if there is blood to flow, let it be gatur blood...\". remember that? I have a facebook page online that's directed toward a lot of college students. And I have a lot of the players listed as my \"friends\". I copied that post and sent it to virtually every player on the team and received back responses from a few of them including southerland, munzenmaier, and chapas saying thank you and that it was read aloud one day in practice and got a great response.
I guess the reason I'm saying that is I know that fans have a VOICE in the Dawgs success and demise even if we don't think it's that pertinent. That's why even through the negativity a lot of us have shown this year on here, we still know why we love our Dawgs and college football in general. So let us stop focusing on the negatives and start supporting our guys the way they should be supported. I'd love to be the one writing motivational speeches for the Dawgs to read in practice EVERY week. Truth is, I'm not quite wise enough and learned enough to write things like that. But I miss seeing things like that on here. So lets hear more about those nerds from tech and how we are going to demolish them next saturday. We, as fans, can discuss what we think needs to be done with the team and players and coaches all we want, but to focus on the thing that really helps, genuine support and encouragement, is really all that we, as fans should be focused on. GO DAWGS!!!!! SIC' EM!!!!!

GeorgiaBoy1285, that was wlayton. Of that I am pretty sure. It was not me, but I am in total agreement with you, the fans and supporters of the beloved Dawgs live and die with them each and every game.

The Tech game will mean a lot this year, will have a lot to do with the future of both programs. This is GT's super bowl, whether they would admit to that or not. PJ will pull out all stops to gain a victory this year, just hope that with the week off, we can heal and prepare for a offense that is different from any that we have played against this year.

Have this feeling that we are going to see the defense flying around like they did against Hawaii, and that would be an awesome site to see AGAIN. GATA. GO DAWGS . . . . MAKE YOURSELVES PROUD FIRST, WE WILL TAKE IT FROM THERE!

I was hoping it would be the early game. Now if only Bedlam will be the late game, that way I can catch them both...

GATA! Woof!

A week off and the home crowd is just the medicine the doctor ordered.
I think we come out focused and hungry.

QB for Tech is questionable for this week's matchup with Miami. We'll know what kind of weight Tech is putting into this one. Sit Nesbitt and rest him for the Rivalry game? or play him in a big conference game? Hmmm. Maybe play both, but he could be out if he plays against the U and aggravates that sprained ankle even more.
