Our SEC East foes in Knoxville made the \"Not so Top 10\" on sportsline.com.
Our defense stunk it up a bit here lately, but here is what could happen if our offense wasn't loaded with talent.
Here's the excerpt where UT made number 5 on this worst 10 CFB team list:
Key Losses: The Vols have only scored 22 points in their last 3 games, which were losses. Then they lose to the team with the 2nd ugliest uniforms in college football in Knoxville to boot. SEC officials are reviewing your membership status as we speak.
Key Wins: Hang that orange cream-cicle colored hat on the 34-3 win over Mississippi State, the lone conference win for Rock Flop.
Outlook: For the fans, it's great. Basketball season starts real soon. They also know they are going to get a fresh start, something they haven't had in 17 years. But for the team and lame duck and dart board poster boy Phil Fulmer, the road is ugly. The Vols travel to Nashville in two weeks to take on the tailspinning Commodores. Then, the final game of the Phil Fulmer era at Tennessee, the Vols host Kentucky. They could very well lose both games. But don't feel bad for Phil. Rumor has it he landed a job with Alabama as Chairman of the NCAA Rules Compliance and Pie Judging Committee.
That last line takes the cake! no pun intended Phil...
