stevedawg: It appears to me that we are become a little to bit to full of ourselves. Great post Buc, waylon, diapola etc. Why not let us hear from the other schools that we have beaten or have beaten us? If they use good grammar and proper language they should be allowed to post. I for one, was offended by diapola post of F en Florida. I am not a prude, but this was not appropriate for this board. Keep it clean and respectful, even if it is tongue in cheek. If posters step over the line they should be deleted, but come on stevedawg if we Dawgs can't stand the heat, we had better get out of the kitchen. We sure do a good job of name calling in reference to other coaches and teams we play. What's
good for the goose is good for the gander. I stated on an earlier post that I may be the oldest member on this board. After this post I may be the oldest ex member on this board. It's your call stevedawg. This is the way I feel and I didn't intend to step on anyones toes, but I tell it like it is.
As always, GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually DawgDoc, we have heard quite a bit from some posters from LSU, BAMA, AU, UT, Okla ST, HI, WVU, USC (gamecocks) and a few others. Believe we just didn't want to hear from any gators...especially today, maybe at the end of the week. Besides, we have GatorinGa as a regular touting the gators (and very respectfully at that).
Always love your posts and wisdom about the Dawgs!!

Thanks Wlayton.
If I'm being candid, I will tell you that I hold back a lot out of respect for the fact that I'm in \"your\" house.
Part of me really understands DawgDoc's point but I enjoy this forum because all the childish trash talk does not exist here. If outsiders were allowed to come on here and taunt, I KNOW that some personalities would let things fly and it would get out of hand. To DawgDoc's point, most people (75 %) are homers. That includes Gator fans and Bulldog fans. I honestly am not a homer. I am realistic as are several people here. But there are a lot of memebers here that are big time homers and by simply stewing in Dawg love, maybe expectations get set too high.
Let me tell you, I live and work 20 miles from Athens so I am surrounded by Dawg fans. The people here (for the most part) were dilusional about how good the Dawgs are and how bad they were going to blow-out the Gators. I thought the Gators would win a shootout at 38-34. I did and still do think the Dawgs are a top 10 team but not MNC contenders.
GatorinGa: I am not seeking taunters, but prople that would like to post about their teams win. You said you are not a homer, but a realistic fan. I feel the same way. I stated before this season started we were over rated and would most likley loose three games. We have lost two and I still believe we will loose one more. I hope not to Teck, but that a strong possibility. They run an offense that very few division I schools run and that my friends put a lot of pressure on an defense that has not faired too well against the traditional offenses we have encountered. As always, GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been a fan for decades and have had a lot of fun without disrespecting people or letting my language get too colorful.
I believe when language crosses from communication to inflammatory it has become counter productive to talking about anything. That's the line not to cross. I enforce it. Even it's smallest violation, I enforce the rule.
I just want everyone to understand I already let in 3 Fla fans a couple of weeks ago I had to ban immediately for inflammatory language. One thought he was being a \"good sport\" but sent me the nastiest emails I have ever gotten when he got cut off. He was warned twice, very nicely, before being cut off. The rest of them showed up after the game to, well, it would be wrong to assume why they showed up but their timing is bad. It looked too much like the problem of a couple years ago that took days to clean up. Maybe these folks will be contacted later and asked to come on in. As we all know, we enjoy the rivals that want to talk football.
Everyone reel it in a little on the language. This is a family site and we don't want to have to explain it to the children.
Topic closed for now. We can discuss it again in the off season.
Now, over and out. Back to the Kentucky game. The rest of the season counts more than the one game in Jacksonville.
Go Dawgs,
setevdawg
For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.
