Ok so Im not going to point fingers because we played poorly on both sides of the ball.
I am dissapointed. I am in St. Simons and the majorityt of the 200+ fans that were here at the 228 bar and grill have left after we went down 35-3.
This is embarassing. I can handle a close loss but we got our asses kicked(sorry to the admin but I am telling it how it is.).
This season has been a gigantic dissapointement. We WERE ranked #1 in the country at the preseason and haven't shown that we deserved the accolades.
I can understand losing a close game but that wasn't the case today. I HATE to have to say this but we are not even close to being a championship team.
I hope for a chance at the Cotton Bowl. Let's just run out the season and pretend this one didn't even exist.
Don't call me a fair weather fan. I have stuck with the Dawgs in hard times and quite frankly this season should have been better. This kind of thing is the reason why the media doesn't respect us.
Don't get me wrong I love CMR and what he has done with the team, but this season was supposed to be something special and it has been far from it. I know the players played their heart out and I commend them for it. We as fans need to face the fact that we are not in any position to compete for a national title.
It is hard to be a Dawgs fan sometimes, I guess that is why I love them.
It happens, i had my doubts at the start of the year, and it seems they were there for a reason! i love being a Dawg and will always be through the good and bad! Yes this sucks, but its why we all watch the game!!!!! GOOOO DAWGS SIC EM!
