wlayton, sadler has a point. Whether it's 52-38 or 52-3, a W is a W is a W. The fact of the matter is that when LSU tied us 7-7, the D tightened up and the offense made it 21-7. When LSU pulled back within 4, the D tightened up until it was 38-17. Don't forget those mini-games-within-games. Or, if you like, think about it this way: if the D had done in 2005 against Auburn what it did this year against LSU, we win that high-scoring game 30-28.
Don't forget that this is the same defense that allowed 7 points against SCarolina and shut down Arizona State and Tennessee. We're a good team.
That said, we're going to have to outscore Florida. That's just the nature of that particular beast. The only times we've beaten Florida since the '80s have been when we've scored at least 34 (38 in 1997, 34 in 2004, 42 in 2007). They score, and they score well, especially when they don't have a defense. We have to do on offense what we did last week, and we'll be fine.
GO DAWGS!
